Science Contracts Manager,

Nimlesh is responsible for managing progress of the individual science contracts that comprise NZAGRC’s domestic programme. She also assists with the NZAGRC’s governance and advisory groups.

Nimlesh joined the NZAGRC in April 2020, following a role as a Research and Commercialisation Advisor at Lincoln University and, before that, Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of California, Davis, and in the Department of Soil and Physical Sciences at Lincoln.

She holds an MSc in Microbiology and PhD in Soil Science and received the Morice Fieldes Memorial Award in 2013 for her outstanding PhD thesis. She has published 11 papers on greenhouse gas quantification and mitigation, and has delivered university seminars and presented at various national and international conferences.
