Cows, Sheep and Science: A Scientific Perspective on Biological Emissions from Agriculture
The science is clear. When debating emissions, consider your goals. This paper was commissioned by the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment in the context of the Commissioner’s investigation into the merits of an “all-gases, all-sectors’” Emissions Trading Scheme. Motu brought together a group of New Zealand climate change and agriculture specialists to respond to five specific questions, and their corollaries, posed by the Commissioner.
