NZ Fund for Global Partnerships in Livestock Emissions Research to announce second round
The New Zealand fund for global partnerships in Livestock Emissions Research will announce a second round of funding in the coming weeks.
The four Challenges to be addressed will in essence remain the same as in the current funding round but there will be some changes to the explanatory text to assist bid writers better meet the challenges. The Challenges are:
- Manipulating rumen function
- Reducing nitrous oxide emissions from soils in predominantly grazing livestock systems
- Manipulating the rates of soil carbon change in predominantly grazing livestock systems
- Improved tools for farmer decision making in predominantly grazing livestock systems
